Jaded Blossom February 2025 Monthly Challenge

Jaded Blossom February 2025 Monthly Challenge

Theme: Use A Stencil

Hello crafty friend, I hope you know how Pawsome you are and thanks so much for stopping by and checking out my entry for Jaded Blossom's February Monthly challenge: Use A Stencil!  This month I created a beautiful floral birthday card using the Vine Stencil and Flower Dies.

I started off by inking the vine stencil with Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Saturated Ink in Cabbage then cut it out with the Card Mat Dies and blended the edges to give a nice border.  I then splattered Tim Holtz Gilded Foundry Wax and heat set it to give a golden touch!  The background was attached to a kraft cardstock cut 1/8" larger than the mat die and then adhered to an A2 size card base.

Using the flower dies I created the beautiful floral arrangement and shaped the flowers to give a nice touch of dimension and used a gold metallic cardstock in the middle to give them the same shining look as the background.  I then cut out a banner from the Mini Tag Dies 2 using the same kraft cardstock as the mat layer and stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Grilling With My Gnomies stamp set and nestled it in the flowers.

I hope you enjoyed my creation for this month's challenge and below you will find a list of all the products I used.

Jaded Blossom Heart on Fire Valentine

HEART ON FIRE

Hello crafty friend, I hope you know how Pawsome you are and thanks so much for stopping by and checking out this super cute Valentine for my firefighter husband!  I started with Jaded Blossom's Girl Gnome and Girl Gnome Face Add Ons dies and gave her a sweet winking face using their Valentine Gnome Faces stamp set. I then made up her blazing heart by combining the Valentine and S'more Add Ons and used a Wink of Stella glitter brush to add a little sparkle!

The background was created using Card Mat and Octagon dies and I cut another layering mat out of blue cardstock 1/8" larger and placed it on an A2 size card base.  I used the coordinating dies to cut out the sentiment from the Arrest Me stamp set and popped it up using 2mm foam squares, then added a few blue hearts using the Embellishment Clusters Die for an extra little touch.

I hope you enjoy this card as much as I do and thanks again so much for stopping by! You can find a list of the products used below.

Jaded Blossom Valentine's Day Card

CRIMINAL LOVE

Hello crafty friend, I hope you know how Pawsome you are and thanks so much for stopping by and checking out my criminally HOT gnomie!  This poor handsome gnome got locked up for trying to steal your heart!  I had so much fun creating this card but also felt bad having to put him behind bars.

I created the jail cell by using Jaded Blossom's Photo Frame Die and attaching a black lined acetate sheet to the back of the frame and the gnome directly behind it with his hands popped up on the front with thin foam squares to make it look like he is holding on to the bars. I then used a mixture of 2mm foam tape and squares to pop it up on a piece of red Doodlebug cardstock and layered on a tilted rectangle to give the background a little extra flair.  The background was cut out using Jaded Blossom's Card Mat Dies and I added a few hearts from their Embellishment Clusters Die using a silver cardstock.

I added a strip of paper from the same Doodlebug pad I used on the front and handcuffs from the Police Add Ons using the same silver cardstock as the hearts to the inside as a fun little extra. Both sentiments are from Jaded Blossom's Arrest Me stamp set.  I hope you enjoy this card as much as I do and thanks again so much for stopping by!  You can find a list of the products used below.
