Jaded Blossom January 2026 Monthly Challenge

Theme: Anything Goes

    It's the first Sunday of the month which means it's time for a new monthly challenge at Jaded Blossom and the theme for January is Anything Goes and I have a fun football themed 40th birthday card I made for a lady that loves the Saints to share for inspiration!

 

For this female friendly football card, I used the Card Mat Dies and cut out some yard line paper and made sure to highlight the 40-yard line and matted it on black cardstock cut 1/8in larger.  I cut out the football from the Sport Dies and the helmet from the Gnome Dies: Sport Add Ons 1 and attached them to the bottom.  The helmet is made to go on a gnome so I just hand cut a piece of the white shimmer cardstock to fill in the back and popped up the helmet on top of it with various foam squares and strips, so it looked like a complete helmet.

To finish it off I added a large 40 cut from the Alphabet Dies and stamped "GAME TIME" from the Eat-Sleep-Football stamp set on one of the banners from the Mini Tag Dies 3 and then added a few star embellishments.  Then on the inside I used the same stamp set for the "Score It's Your Birthday" sentiment and the stamp set Root for the Gnome Team to add "Touchdown" to a scrap piece of the paper I used on the front to the bottom.  Lastly, I cut out the little football and pom-pom from the Gnome Dies: Sport Add Ons 1.
