Jaded Blossom September 2025 Monthly Challenge

Jaded Blossom September 2025 Monthly Challenge

Theme: Anything Goes

Hello crafty friend, I hope you know how Pawsome you are and thanks so much for stopping by and checking out my entry for Jaded Blossom's September Monthly Challenge!  This month I created a fun wobbly pig jumping over the fence to play in the mud!

I started with an A2 size top folding card base using Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 110lb cardstock and adhered a cloudy sky background cut out using the Card Mat Dies.  I used the Border Dies 2 to make a grassy hill in the background, the Spring Dies for the grass in front of the fence, and the Tropical Dies for the mud and then ran each of them through the card mat die to give the stitching look the whole way around the card.

I used the Scenic Dies to make the white picket fence and then tucked it in behind the grass.  I created the adorable pig using the Gnome Dies: Farm Add Ons and attached him to an action wobbler to give him the fun illusion of jumping over the fence to get to the mud!

To finish the card off I added a sun from the Gnome Dies: Weather Add Ons and added a fun sentiment using the Hay Friend stamp set and coordinating dies, popping it up with foam squares.  I can't get over how cute the pig is and the joy of making him wobble!

New Little Buck

New Little Buck

Hello crafty friend, I hope you know how Pawsome you are and just wanted to say thanks for stopping by!  I made this adorable card for a recent baby shower, and I just can't get over how cute the little buck is!!!

For this card I started out with a white A2 size card base and added the fun patterned paper from Echo Park's 6x6 hello baby - its a boy paper pad that I cut out using the Rectangle Dies 1 to give the fun stitched detail around the outside.  Then I used the Stitched Circle Dies to cut out another pattern from the pad and then layered it on an orange textured cardstock cut with the Scallop Circle Dies.

I created the super cute little buck using the Gnome Friends: Reindeer Die and Reindeer Faces (coloring in the eyes with a #5 and #10 jelly roll pen) and gave him the adorable pacifier (thanks to Lee-Ann for the inspiration!) using the heart from the Wheelbarrow Dies; Love Mail Add Ons and the rim for the goggles from the Safari Add Ons.

To create the sentiment, I used the Mini Tag Dies 3 to cut out a piece of white cardstock and using my Misti I carefully masked off a sentiment from the Forest Friends (revamped) stamp set to fit how I wanted inside the tag and added the "BUCK" using the Build A Booth: Alphabet Add Ons.

I still can't get over that ridiculously adorable face and it took everything in me to actually give him away!  😂  It's a good thing I can always make another!  Thanks again so much for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed my creation as much as me!

For this super sweet baby card I took inspiration from Snappy Scraps Blog Post It's A Girl so be sure to check it out as well! I made this card to send our congratulations to some friends of ours that just welcomed a new baby boy!

I used the Card Mat Dies to cut out the safety pin background and added a blue Doodlebug 12x12 linen cardstock mat layer cut at 4-1/8in x 5-3/8in and I created the large banner out of the backside of the paper that was left over.   The green rectangle was cut with the Rectangle Dies and the yellow circle with the Stitched Circle Dies and used the Border Dies and the Mini Tag Dies 2 for the final touches.

I created the super cute onesie using the Baby Dies, added mini white brads for the snaps, and used the Monster Add Ons 2 to add the sewn-on look to the button.  I attached the hanger to the back of the onesie and then adhered it to the card using thin foam squares for a little dimension and then added the fun sentiment from the Mini Human stamp set.

For the inside I choose another sentiment from the Mini Human stamp set and added a little onesie and socks from the Baby Dies and used some leftovers of the papers to add a couple strips at the bottom.

Jaded Blossom August 2025 Monthly Challenge

Theme: 1980's

Hello crafty friend, I hope you know how Pawsome you are and thanks so much for stopping by and checking out my entry for Jaded Blossom's August Monthly Challenge: 1980's Theme!  This month I created a nostalgic Pac-Man inspired card, even though I was born in the mid-late 80's I fondly remember playing as a kid!

For this card I started out with a white 5x7 card base and added a black background a 1/4 inch smaller, and heat embossed the GAME TIME sentiment from the Root for the Gnome Team stamp set in white.  I then used the Stitched Circle Dies and Diamond Dies to create Pac-Man and the Gnome Friends: Ghost Die to make his little friends and colored their eyes in with a Tombow marker.  I used the Monster Add Ons 1 to add the circles in between them.

Jaded Blossom July 2025 Monthly Challenge

Jaded Blossom July 2025 Monthly Challenge

Theme: Anything Goes

Hello crafty friend, I hope you know how Pawsome you are and thanks so much for stopping by and checking out my entry for Jaded Blossom's July Monthly Challenge: Anything Goes!  This month I created an enchanted Seashell Shaker Card (try saying that 10 times fast! 😂) with an adorable little seahorse inside!  I found this super cute shaker/glitter mix at Michaels and couldn't wait to use it!

I used Doodlebug's 12x12 Seaside Summer - Surf's Up paper to make the watery background and used the Tropical Dies to make a sandy floor on an A2 sized horizontal card base.  I then pieced together the seaweed and coral cluster from the Mermaid Add Ons and added a sentiment from the Make a Splash Gnomie stamp set.

To make the seashell I cut out the detailed piece from the Fancy Shell Die multiple times out of plain white cardstock till I had the desired thickness I wanted for the shaker and 1 final time out of the turquois color cardstock for my top layer.  I layered up the plain white pieces and cut off the strips going down the center, so I had an open shaker area and not a bunch of small, divided areas to help my shaker pieces move more freely.  I cut the solid shell shape out of shimmery white cardstock and acetate and then built my seashell shaker.  I added the glued together plain white pieces to my shimmery background, added a thin piece of foam strip behind the center pieces going up from the sides of the pearl for a little support in the middle (I made sure to leave space on the top and bottom so my shaker pieces could still move freely and not be sectioned off), and then added my shaker bits and closed it up with the solid acetate piece with the teal detailed piece glued on top.  I finished it off by adding the bottom piece with the pearl directly to the shell and just used foam squares behind any spots that were sticking out on the back so they wouldn't bend and had support when attached to the card front.

To decorate the inside, I added a strip of the same Doodlebug paper and a sandy bottom that was left over from cutting the front piece out of the Tropical Dies, added a couple seashells and a super cute seahorse from the Mermaid Add Ons, and another sentiment from the Make a Splash Gnomie stamp set.

I just love how this card turned out and can't wait to make more fun seashell shakers!  There is just something about making summery/beachy/water cards that brings so much joy!  I hope you loved checking out this magical creation as much as I did making it and want to thank you again so much for stopping by to see it. I hope this brings you inspiration and invite you to join in on the fun and enter in your own project for the monthly challenge HERE, and while you're at it check out all the other amazing entries and design team inspiration!  Below you will find a list of all the products I used, have a Pawsome Day!

Jaded Blossom June 2025 Monthly Challenge

Jaded Blossom June 2025 Monthly Challenge

Theme: Make A Background

Hello crafty friend, I hope you know how Pawsome you are and thanks so much for stopping by and checking out my entry for Jaded Blossom's June Monthly challenge: Make A Background!  This month I created an adorable bee-day card for a special little 1yr old!  I wanted her to have an interactive card, so I made a shaker card complete with a cute little fuzzy cubby bee.

I created the background by adding a grassy hill cut from the Mushroom Dies to a blue sky and added some fluffy clouds using the Rainbow Dies.  I then used the branch and leaves from the Tree Swing Dies and added a cute little beehive using the Beekeeper Add Ons.

I then added a Bug Trail to an A2 sized full shaker panel, closed up 3 of the sides then added Doodlebug Design's Busy Bees Shakers before closing up the last flap.

I added the super sweet chubby bee from the Beekeeper Add Ons and cut it out from Doodlebug's Velvet Cardstock for added texture!  For a final a touch I added the "Sweet as Honey" sentiment from the Bee Kind Stamps and Dies.

I added another sentiment from the Bee Kind stamp set to the inside and dressed it up with a honey pot and bee from the Beekeeper Add Ons.  I colored in the bee and added the trail with a black pen and added Glossy Accents to the honey in the pot.

Jaded Blossom Graduation Cards

Jaded Blossom Graduation Cards

Hello crafty friend, I hope you know how Pawsome you are and thanks so much for stopping by!  I have had so much fun creating cards for some lucky Graduates this year.

For these 2 cards I started off cutting out the background paper using the Card Mat Dies (one was going to be a close call on being big enough to cut properly with the die and I didn't want to risk ruining it, so it is a plain rectangle) and then I cut a matting layer measuring 1/8in smaller than an A2 size card.  I cut out a Stitched Circle and placed it in the bottom right corner and also used the card mat die one the one card to give it a continuous stitched look.  Then I dressed up the Girl Gnomes in their cap and gown using the School Add Ons and gave them a well-deserved diploma to hold.  For an added touch I cut out a couple big red shiny Balloon Dies and added the Congratulations using both the stamp set and coordinating dies.

For the 2nd round of cards, I changed up the look but still used the Card Mat Dies and layering mat for the background.  I decorated these using the Diamond Dies and Star Dies and added the 25 using the Alphabet Dies.  The "Class of" came from the stamp set Grad Day by Photoplay.

Thanks so much for stopping by and checking out my creations, I hope you have a Pawsome day!  I have added a detailed list of products used below.
