Butterfly Birthday

Hello friends, I'm on the Jaded Blossom Blog today with a beautiful Butterfly Birthday Card!  I had so much fun water coloring and splattering with this card and just love how the purple butterflies pop on the teal background!

I cut out the background paper using the Card Mat Dies and added black and white splatters.  I used the Spring Dies 2 for the butterflies and the Birthday Word Dies for the word "Birthday" and water colored them both with purple inks.  To help the butterflies pop I also went around all the edges with a black marker.  I then heat embossed the word "Happy" from You Go Together like (Add On) stamp set onto a banner from the Mini Tag Dies 2 and stacked it on top one another and then tucked them behind the Birthday.  For a final touch I used the Fluttering By stamp set to add a heart shaped flying pattern behind one of the butterflies.

I also used the Fluttering By stamp set on the inside and masked off the ladybug and added a little butterfly from the Spring Embellishment Cluster Die.
